Here is a look inside the new Shuttle X50 Touchscreen All-in-One PC. Of most interest is the memory. It is not well documented anywhere, so here it is for all: This unit accepts up to 2GB of DDR2 667 MHz Notebook memory. I was surprised to find it has two slots, so if you got one of the early models preloaded with 1GB, you only need to buy one more 1GB stick to max it out.

I'll have a full review of this item as soon as I've had a chance to really tear one apart. For now, here's my take on how X50 stacks up against the competition. Looks The X50 is second to none. The MSI WindTop looks OK, but it is nothing pretty. The ASUS Eee Top might not be totally hideous if it lost the absolutely hideous Eee cursive logo that dominates the front.
